About Katsunori Okada

Born August 23, 1969.

From childhood, he was drawn to drawing and making things, developing a lasting interest in the expression created by color and materials.

In 1995, he founded COLORS ART WORKS. His practice includes painting, decorative interior finishes, mural work, and paint design for vessels and other surfaces.

Today, he also creates works that bring out the texture of wood and incorporate materials such as gold and silver leaf.

Without being bound by fixed formats, he creates each piece carefully, respecting the place where it will live and the individuality of its materials.
